A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THRIVING CALIFORNIA…

THERAPY TO HEAL, RESTORE, AND EMPOWER YOU TO BE THE PARENT YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE.

AT THRIVING CALIFORNIA, WE EMPOWER PARENTS TO NAVIGATE CHALLENGES, SET BOUNDARIES, AND BUILD STRONGER CONNECTIONS.

We provide a welcoming and supportive environment where your parenting challenges are acknowledged and openly discussed. Our aim is to help you gain confidence as a parent and equip you with tools for effective communication and deeper connection with your partner. We strive to ensure that you feel fully supported, more empowered to manage parenting challenges, and less overwhelmed or burnt out.

With over 10 years of experience, we have witnessed profound transformations in our clients. Together, we’ll address the root causes of your challenges, identify limiting patterns, and develop practical strategies for lasting change. Whether you’re looking to break intergenerational cycles, improve communication, or achieve balance in your life, we are here to support you every step of the way.

HI, I’M DR. MAYA WEIR

LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCOLOGIST

As a new parent, I experienced the most tumultuous changes of adulthood, often without the support I needed. Navigating sleep deprivation, figuring out feeding, and recovering from birth were incredibly tough. This inspired me to dedicate my life to supporting parents, especially those with young children. I understand the unique pressures of early parenthood and how it can trigger unresolved childhood wounds and intergenerational patterns. Helping parents navigate these challenges is deeply fulfilling, and it's at the heart of my work.
